  • The FWAG Silver Lapwing Awards receive a record number of entries!   The closing date for entries to the FWAG Silver Lapwing Awards - sponsored by Waitrose in association with Coombe Farm - has now passed and we have received a record number of entries to the 2009 competition.  The short-listing process is now underway and the finalists of the Awards will be announced at our Game Fair reception on 25 July.

Ragwort - what you should know

Ragwort poses a real risk to animal health.  DEFRA has updated its web site on the control of ragwort, including identification, a code of practice and guidance on disposal.  Ragwort is currently still at its rosette stage, but is due to start sending up the distinctive yellow flowering stems next month in June.
