Tim Bennett

Tim Bennett is a Carmarthenshire farmer currently running an Aberdeen Angus beef enterprise; previously he ran the farm as a dairy and poultry unit. Tim is a member of South Wales FWAG committee and has been instrumental in the development of FWAG Cymru's premier membership package, FWAG Cyntaf, signing up as one of the scheme's first members.

He has wide ranging experience of corporate governance, financial, business, management and personnel matters gained through chairing the NFU Board whilst President of the NFU. Tim sits on the Board of the Foods Standard Agency, and on the Council of Food from Britain (as well as on their remuneration committee Board). He is a member of the Farmers' Club Committee and is the Chairman of the Shadow Dairy Sector Company for Great Britain (which will replace the MDC).
