The Carmarthenshire branch of the FUW (Farmers Union of Wales) and FWAG Cymru (Farming and Wildlife Advisory Group) held an enjoyable and entertaining quiz evening with their farmer members and representatives of partner organisations on Wednesday the 28th of January at the New Cross Inn, Dryslwyn, Carmarthenshire. Fourteen teams competed for the first prize of £40 kindly donated by Castell Howell Foods.
The successful team on the evening were ‘The Smugglers' led by Gorslas farmers and FWAG Cymru members Mike and Jeremy Tancock and with neighbours Paul and Liz Crippin. Quizmaster for the evening was FUW Vice President and organic dairy farmer Brian Walters from Ffynonddrain.
